Every page on the Credo Reference platform contains a unique permalink which will allow you to link directly to any Credo page from any website, LMS or Libguide you control. Look for the chain link icon on the top right of every Credo screen to find the permalink. See examples of linkable pages below:
Click the chain link icon to see a box containing the permalink. Copy the link and paste it to its destination.
FIND A BOOK PAGE
The permalink displayed on the Find a Book page (below) will alter depending upon the filter you select. The example below is filtered by Animals and Veterinary Science. When the permalink icon is selected, the permalink displays with a subject URL on the end allowing end users to link directly to a specific subject group of titles. You'll also notice the proxy highlighted. If your institution has a proxy, we will append the prefix to the URL so that remote users will be able to seamlessly access the content through the proxy, no matter where you post the link.
MIND MAP PAGE
Much like the Find a Book page, the Permalink displayed on the Mind Map page will alter depending on the map that is being displayed. The permalink on this page is not simply a link to the Mind Map tool, but rather a link to the specific map on the screen.
The permalink on the Topic Page is an ideal place to begin building a study guide. Using the "Related Topics" suggestions on the right side of the Topic Page, you can copy the URL of each Topic Page to gather related pages.
